SHT 00 · SINGLE-LINE

Keshav Jha — Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Kathmandu University

One engineer, drawn as a single-line diagram.

I have worked generation at a running hydropower plant, and I am doing research in a live agrivoltaic field in Dhulikhel. Six builds have gone from Proteus simulation to hardware and PCB.

SHT 01 · SYSTEM OVERVIEW

Systems, not gadgets.

I am a final-year Electrical and Electronics Engineering student at Kathmandu University in Dhulikhel. I think in systems rather than gadgets: generation, transformation, distribution, load — every project I build is a node on one connected diagram, not an isolated device.

I am a student with field exposure, not a veteran. That means one month inside a working hydropower plant, one live agrivoltaic research project, and six builds carried from simulation to hardware. My interests sit where power systems, hydropower, renewable energy, and embedded systems meet.

DESIGN BASIS: GENERATION → TRANSFORMATION → DISTRIBUTION → LOAD

SHT 02 · GENERATION & TRANSMISSION

Where the grid taught its own rules.

GEN · NUPCHE LIKHU HYDROPOWER — 1 MONTH

Engineering Intern — Nupche Likhu Hydropower Project

IN SERVICE
  • Hands-on exposure to hydropower generation systems — turbines, generators, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Observed and assisted switchyard operations: circuit breakers, isolators, CTs and PTs — the instrument transformers that let protection relays see the grid — and the protection systems around them.
  • Studied transmission line configuration, protection coordination, and grid interconnection.

COMMISSIONING · AGRIVOLTAIC PILOT — DHULIKHEL, KAVRE

Agrivoltaics Research & Demonstration Project

COMMISSIONING
  • Contributing to the electrical design and configuration of a pilot agrivoltaic system that integrates solar PV with working agriculture.
  • Assisting system sizing, structural layout planning, and energy yield estimation.
  • Supporting field implementation and monitoring of generation performance.

Part of an internationally funded research collaboration. [TK NAMING PERMISSION]
